About SUPPORT TRUST

Compassion knows no boundaries
Support Trust: Uniting Hearts to create a better world

Support Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 with a focus on health and social issues. Our goal is to empower and uplift the communities by addressing various challenges they face.

We conduct a wide range of activities to fulfill our mission. These include hosting workshops, conferences, and awareness programs on health issues such as chronic diseases, mental health, and women’s health. We also organize vaccination programs, health camps, and disaster relief efforts to provide immediate assistance in times of need. Moreover, we promote women empowerment and support artisans to preserve and promote traditional art forms.

Our organization primarily supports the communities including women, children, artisans, and individuals facing health challenges. We collaborate with government departments, healthcare professionals, community leaders, and other stakeholders to deliver our programs effectively.

Support Trust operates in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, and other states. We work in collaboration with local institutions, NGOs, and community-based organizations to maximize our impact.

Over the past 17 years, Support Trust has achieved significant milestones. We were recognized by Tara Gandhi, the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, for our outstanding work. Our efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic were appreciated by the government of Jammu and Kashmir. Our work during Kashmir floods was appreciated by Reliance Foundation. Reliance Foundation then Collaborated with Support trust in conducting various health camps and delivering relief materials to the affected families.

We also collaborated with the project “Saving Lives” by Rotary International Birmingham, UK. These achievements reflect our commitment to improving the lives of individuals and communities in Kashmir.
