Launch & Workshop on Disaster Medicine
On June 22nd and 23, 2015, the Rotary Birmingham International Saving Lives(project) hosted a spectacular launch and two-day programme for medical professionals, paramedics, and volunteers. The goal was to expand emergency medical services and establish a faculty of disaster medicine in the state. It was a certified programme that eventually resulted in the establishment of a fully functional faculty of disaster medicine in the state.
As part of the “Saving Lives” project, Support Trust and Rotary Birminghum together hosted a two-day session on disaster medicine.
